Кома – comma (,)
Це найпоширеніший знак пунктуації в інгліші мові. Ось де ставити кому в англійській.
- Між однорідними членами речення.
We discussed our target, deadlines, and milestones for our project.
- Щоб виділити ввідні слова. Наприклад, however, moreover, nevertheless, on the other hand тощо.
The application has a user-friendly interface and advanced functionality. Moreover, it offers seamless integration with other popular software tools.
- Щоб виділити звертання до людини чи її титул.

- Якщо в складнопідрядному реченні є два підмети, кома ставиться перед сполучниками but, and чи or.

- Якщо складнопідрядне речення починається з підрядного, а не з головного.

Двокрапка – colon (:)
В англійській мові є різні види пунктуації. Наприклад, двокрапка юзається для списку, пояснень, цитат або пояснень попереднього вислову.
